Directions from Kona International Airport:
Hale Ke Kai (Kona):
From Kona International Airport, depart via the exit road.
At the traffic light, turn left, going south, on the Queen's Highway, Route 19.
Proceeed ____ miles to the traffic light at Palani Street.
Turn right.
Go thru several lights and intersections until Palani bears left at the King Kamehameha Hotel in the heart of Kona. When Palani bears left, it becomes Alii Drive.
Go approximately 4-1/2 miles. You should see the small 4-1/2 mile marker on the right hand side.
Hale Ke Kai is located at 78-6610 Alii Drive, on the right (ocean) side. There is a "pull off" in front of the gate to pull out of traffic.
The house is surrounded on the road side by a high, lava rock wall.
